CCT Surveillance will help the police to know when and where a crime is committed, sometimes before it even happens, and can thus take action faster than before. So, CCTV Cameras can help prevent crimes.

CCT Surveillance also allows the police to watch the streets and towns of their on-goings in case someone is attempting something illegal such as speeding or vandalism. In any case, CCT Surveillance will definitely pull down the number of crimes committed in the area that is being watched.

Given a choice, most of us do not like being watched by CCT Surveillance because of our own reasons. Some would think that the Police are watching them because they are doing something illegal, while others would think that the Police have no right to see what they are doing and where they are going.
